FLUKA simulations of tertiary halo in IR1 and IR5 - 4 TeV, 2012 configuration - by Regina Kwee
-
starting conditions in both planes produced with SixTrack simulations
- Machine conditions as in 2012 run: 4 TeV, beta*=0.6m, TCTs at 9.1 sigma
- Cut-off at 20 MeV or 20 GeV
- No biasing used
- FLUKA geometry by F. Cerutti, V. Boccone, L. Esposito, A. Lechner and A. Mereghetti, modified by R. Bruce
Updated data files with particles entering interface plane
New simulations were performed (late 2015) for the same scenario but using updated interaction cross-sections in SixTrack.
Fluka and SixTrack file types are ascii.
